PROJECT DISEMINATION AND ACTIVITIES
Kick-off Meeting
Valencia, Spain | 19–20 January 2026
The first coordination meeting of the Erasmus+ project INSPIRE – INclusion, STEAM, Promotion of well-being & InteRcultural Exchange was held at IES Abastos in Valencia, Spain.
Teachers and coordinators from Spain, Croatia, and Italy met to plan project activities, discuss student mobilities, and strengthen international cooperation. The partners worked on topics related to inclusion, STEAM education, Artificial Intelligence, digital well-being, and intercultural exchange.
During the meeting, important agreements were made regarding the first student mobility in Valencia, project dissemination, and the creation of the official project website and Instagram account.
The kick-off meeting marked the beginning of a collaborative European journey focused on innovation, inclusion, and student well-being.
Student Mobility – AI INSPIRE Women in STEAM
Valencia, Spain | 10–16 May 2026
The first student mobility took place in Valencia, Spain, bringing together students and teachers from Spain, Croatia, and Italy for an inspiring week of learning, creativity, and intercultural cooperation.
Hosted by IES Abastos, the mobility focused on Artificial Intelligence, STEAM education, digital well-being, and the important contributions of women in science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics.
Students participated in the Women in STEAM exhibition, presenting inspiring female figures from their home countries and highlighting their achievements. Through interactive workshops, including “AI Without Mystery: Understand It, Use It, Create With It” and activities exploring Gamma, students developed their digital skills and discovered new possibilities for using Artificial Intelligence in education and everyday life.
The programme also encouraged a healthy balance between technology and personal well-being. During a mobile-free day at Albufera, students experienced the importance of disconnecting from digital devices, while sports activities and discussions about AI and healthy lifestyles promoted physical and mental well-being.
Cultural activities included guided visits to Valencia’s historic city centre and the City of Arts and Sciences, as well as discovering local traditions through a traditional paella-making activity. Staying with host families provided students with a valuable opportunity to experience Spanish culture, improve their English communication skills, and build lasting international friendships.
The mobility strengthened cooperation between partner schools and demonstrated how innovation, inclusion, cultural exchange, and well-being can come together to create meaningful European learning experiences.
